What do you want to fund?

Start with the business purpose. Your bank checklist then helps define the report and supporting schedules.

Start a business

Explain the proposed activity, setup cost, income basis and operating expenses. Examples include a workshop, shop, food unit or service business.

Plan a new business report

Buy machinery or equipment

Connect the supplier quotation with expected utilisation, capacity, production and the costs of running the equipment.

Prepare machinery figures

Expand an existing business

Show current performance, the proposed investment, demand assumptions and existing loan commitments.

Explain an expansion project

Buy a commercial vehicle or EV

Set out the vehicle purchase, actual work pattern, running costs and how the business expects to support repayment.

Starting a new business

Explain what the business will do, who it expects to serve and how the income estimate was formed. Include the setup cost, relevant quotations and the recurring costs needed to operate.

Separate supported figures from estimates. A shop, workshop, production unit or service business can have a different operating cycle. We review the actual activity before agreeing the report scope.

Buying machinery or equipment

Start with the supplier quotation and the work the equipment will perform. Explain capacity, expected utilisation, staffing, power and maintenance where they apply.

Show how the proposed purchase affects production, sales and operating costs. Rated capacity is different from the work the business expects to sell and collect payment for.

Expanding an existing business

Describe the existing business and the additional investment separately. Keep current financial records and existing loan details ready so the proposed borrowing can be reviewed in context.

Explain the basis for additional work or sales and when the project becomes usable. The branch may request projections and schedules for the wider business as well as the new purchase.

What the bank needs to understand

  • The project and its cost

Identify the purchase or activity and the figures behind the total funding requirement.

  • Your contribution and borrowing

Explain the amount you will provide and the facility you plan to request. The lender decides its financing terms.

  • The earning basis

Connect sales or receipts to the actual work, capacity and utilisation assumptions.

  • Financial projections and repayment

Confirm the required statements, tax assumptions, existing commitments and projection period from the branch checklist.

Official references. Checked on 24 October 2026. Bank terms and asset rules vary. Confirm the terms that apply to your application.

Core sections, tailored to your project

These are connected report sections. They do not set a universal page count or a fixed five-year projection period.

  • Project and borrower

Explain the activity, borrower, purpose and earning basis. Identify which figures are supported by records and which are estimates.

  • Cost and funding plan

Set out the proposed purchase, included costs, your contribution and the requested borrowing. Explain how the total cost will be funded.

  • Projected financial statements

Show income and costs over the period your branch requires. Confirm any projected balance sheet and cash-flow statement in the agreed scope.

  • Cash available and repayment coverage

State the tax assumption and existing commitments. Identify the DSCR formula and the loan repayments used in the assessment.

  • Supporting schedules

Link interest, principal repayments and depreciation to the financial statements. Add further schedules where the agreed branch requirements call for them.

Has your branch named a scheme or loan facility?

Business term loan

Share the branch checklist for the proposed project, asset purchase or expansion. The projection period and supporting statements follow the agreed requirement.

MUDRA

The official PMMY summary covers specified income-generating activities and both term-loan and working-capital needs. The borrower and activity must meet the applicable conditions.

PMEGP

Check the applicable new-enterprise or expansion route and activity conditions. A generic business description does not establish scheme eligibility.

NEEDS

Tamil Nadu describes this route for specified first-generation entrepreneurs and manufacturing or service projects. Confirm the current applicant and project conditions.

UYEGP

Working capital or CMA statements

Tell us if the bank asks for operating-cycle projections, cash-credit statements or CMA data. We confirm the additional scope separately. The annual DSCR tool does not calculate a cash-credit limit.

Official scheme summaries checked on 24 October 2026. The bank and scheme authority decide eligibility and the application.

How our reports work

We prepare your project report from the figures you give us and sign it as Finbees Consulting. It is a projection based on your own numbers. It does not promise loan approval and is not a CA-certified document.

If your bank branch asks for a CA or registered practitioner's certificate, tell us at the start so we can advise on the requirement.

You are responsible for the figures you supply. Finbees does not inflate income to reach a preferred ratio. We review the connection between the project, real operations and the proposed borrowing.

Finbees is not affiliated with any bank.

About the preparer

Finbees Consulting prepares the report. Its registered office is in Dharmapuri, Tamil Nadu. Iniyan is the Managing Partner.

Questions before you start

Which business purposes can Finbees prepare reports for?

Finbees accepts enquiries for new businesses, machinery and equipment purchases, expansion and commercial vehicles, including EVs. Start with the project description and the requirements your branch has shared. We confirm the report sections, projection period and fee after reviewing that information. The report must use the figures and assumptions you can explain.

Does every business loan need the same report?

No. The required statements and projection period depend on the project, loan facility and branch checklist. A simple purchase may need a narrower report than a larger expansion. Tell us about any projected balance sheet, cash-flow statement, existing debt or additional schedule the branch requests so the agreed scope is clear.

How much does project report preparation cost?

The professional fee starts at ₹2,000. The final quote confirms the report scope, applicable taxes, revisions and delivery time after we review the branch checklist and your inputs. Extra schedules or a more complex project can change the fee. Confirm the written quote before you engage the preparation service.

Is a working-capital request the same as a term-loan report?

The information needed can differ. Working capital concerns the money tied up in the operating cycle, while a term-loan report explains the funded project and its repayments. If your branch asks for cash-credit projections or CMA statements, send the exact checklist. Finbees will confirm whether those additional statements form part of the accepted scope.

Will the bank accept the report or approve my loan?

The bank decides whether the report meets its requirements and whether to approve the loan. Finbees prepares the agreed projection from your information and the branch checklist. Share any preferred format, additional schedule or signing requirement before work starts. Report preparation does not assure sanction, a loan amount or a bank decision time.

What if the branch asks for a CA certificate?

Tell Finbees before engaging the report service and send the exact wording of the request. Finbees signs its projections as Finbees Consulting; they are not CA-certified documents. A separate certificate can require a different preparer and scope. We assess that request separately so the requirement is clear before drafting begins.
