What is an organisational document-signer certificate used for?

CCA describes it for an organisational software application that automatically authenticates documents or information attributed to the organisation.

Can a director use a document-signer certificate to sign personally?

No. CCA guidance states that an organisational document-signer certificate is for automated organisational signing and is not meant for individual signing.

Who applies for the certificate?

Does the document-signer certificate include software integration?
